July 4th is a Bank Holiday and Alliance Payroll will be closed

Wednesday, July 4th is a bank holiday celebrating Independence Day. Alliance Payroll will be closed and this is a federal bank holiday, so any direct deposit entries for that day will not be posted until the next banking day. If your payroll is dated 7/4/2012, direct deposits will not post until Thursday, July 5th.

In order for your employees to have their funds post prior to July 4th, please consider the following:

• Your check date would need to be changed to Tuesday, July 3rd.
• Your payroll must be processed prior to 4:00pm on Monday, July 2nd. This would allow us to include your direct deposits on our banking file sent Monday evening.

As a reminder, ACH guidelines suggest that direct deposit transactions be submitted 48 hours prior to check date to ensure timely posting. So, as always, please submit your payroll as early in the week as possible to avoid any unforeseen banking delays at any of your employees various banks.

Please….double check those check dates and feel free to contact your customer service representative with any questions.
